Free descent, the reef with its basalt walls rising from the sandy bottom. We hover over the sand looking into the darkness of the Atlantic and see a huge field of garden eels. You are in the middle of a Paradise for rays, butterflies rays and eye patches. Also the Atlantic torpedo rays and the more common sting rays are regularly sighted here. Doradas, Badis, Barracudas and Tuna come curiously towards the reef. In February and March, a lot of angel sharks come here to mate.
